| When I log into my forum as Administrator at home, the IP Address displayed for my computer is not the right one, the IP Address displayed is for my computer at work, please does anyone know how I can re-set the IP Address function so that it will display the correct IP Address. |

Thanks Huwr for your reply.
My site address in the admin option is my domain name. Something I have just noticed is that when I check my website on my own web server at home, the IP Address displayed is correct but when I check my site which is hosted with web-hosting.uk.com that's when I notice this problem, could this problem have to do with web-hosting.uk.com ?

In answer to your question, it would appear that the active user code is not updating your IP.
If you edit your user profile, is the IP address correct in you profile. |

Are you using MSSQL ?
I have noticed this for some MSSQL users, that the active user page shows the SQL server IP instead of the user.

The IP address in my user profile is not correct for the last IP Address, the active user code is not updating it.
I'm using Access.
I only notice this problem when I login to my site hosted with web-hosting.uk.com, on my web server at home I don't have this problem. |

if it is not updating then it most likely can't read your IP, which is either firewal related at your end or the server end.
When you are logged in as admin, what IP do you get if you click on the  icon in one of your posts |

The IP I get when I click on the image above is my work IP instead of the IP for my home computer, though the posts have been sent from my home computer. |
