I just purchased the Admin section of CandyPress but after my purchase on 2Checkout.com - I pressed the button to take me to CandyPress to download the product and it won't allow me to go to the page - I get an internal server error.
I then tried to send a message to CandyPress and their site seems to be down.
Oddly, I also tried to send a message to 2Checkout.com who processed the payment and got the following error:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@2checkout.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache/1.3.27 Server at www.2checkout.com Port 443
So, both CandyPress and 2Checkout have major problems which are inhibiting me from downloading the software. Now I wonder how much has been billed to my credit card. Additionally, I'm wondering about the quality of the product after these problems. Could someone here check CandyPress' pages and tell me if you can access the forum? www.candypress.com" target="_blank">www.candypress.com Perhaps I can reach someone who can guide me there. Or, if you have any explanation, that would help.
Thanks! |

I got to the candypress.com page instantly when I click on the link in your message. |

Me too. But, not the forum for support, nor the login page to my account, nor the page which gives me access to download from 2Checkout.com (unless the 2Checkout.com navigation is wrong).
UPDATE: someone from CandyPress emailed me and said there are problems with the server and they're working on them. |

D'oh! I should have asked too. I never thought of it until now. Anyhow, it really is nice software so I don't mind giving them all of $49 USD. |

Yeah it is cool :) as a reseller for CP I can only get ya about a few $$ discount anyway ($40 basically from me). Also means you have slightly limited support options in that you have to ask the reseller (eg me) for help rather than CP directly though that doesn't seem to bother most people I've dealt with setting up their stores.
I like the way CP is coded actually, makes it pretty simple to customise. |

I agree with the fact that it is easy to customize. I like how you only have to edit one file with the exact html of what you want the site to look like and you just insert functions for when you want something to be displayed
Example:
PageBody Checkout |
Brad Oklahoma City Online Entertainment Guide Oklahoma Event Tickets |
