Hi,
This is this first MOD that I have posted, thought I had better contribute back seeing as I have used several mods on my forum.
I have missed anything out then please go easy on me but let me know and I will do my best to resolve any issues quickly.
This MOD allows you to do 2 things, 1. Extend the user profile with definable and selectable fields and 2. Add a survey to a topic
A survey consists of mutiple fields that can be either text or cascading drop down fields where one is dependant on the previous selection.
I have only tested the MOD on Access.
Download link http://www.awdc.asn.au/snitz/SurveyMODBETA1.0.0.zip
Demo site is available at http://www.awdc.asn.au/snitz/default.asp
You will need to register and their is a forum and topic to test the mod.
The readme.txt file explains more about the mod and some of the current limitations / known issues.
Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated
Cheers

Nice mod Rob ! I can already think of a few uses for it.
A few font sizes seem to be wrong though - should be pretty easy to fix. |

I tried to use the correct font sizes and layouts etc.
Note to Self, must try harder !!
Seriously though, let me know where they are wrong and I will update.
Cheers

I tried to get into admin options as instructed by your forum but I am getting rejected, though I love how the mod is so far working there. WWS |

Its fine mate. Only size errors are these following parts of text.
Click on the link to complete the survey.
Once completed you can click survey_results.asp?SURVEYID=2 to view the results.
And the Survey Question names are one size too big.
I think thats all ! Congrats on making the first mod of '04 ! |

The forum just requires registration and then you can complete the test survey.
If you want to look at the setup then login details are in the test forum
uid survey pwd survey
Also, each member can only complete a survey once, they can go back and change if this has been setup for the survey, best to create a new login to test the survey and use the login above to see the config.
Hope this is what you meant :)

Rob,
This is a great mod - do you think you'll be finishing up the feature list? It would be a very useful function for my forum!
Thanks.

Thanks for the feed back and bugs reported.
I have been real busy with work the last few weeks but I have managed to find some time to start working on some extra features and resolving some of the bugs in the first release.
I have not tested on MS-SQL but will endeavour to do so and post the results with my next update.
Cheers
