Hello all, running Windows2k Server here. Deleted today a couple million error messages in the mailroot/badmail folder. Noticed them because all the disk space was gone and I was getting some "unspecified error" things having to deal with access databases and such. Well, got those deleted, but literally in hours it is back up to about 7000 to 8000 more error messages. Here is what one of them looks like.

Unable to deliver this message because the follow error was
encountered: "Error is processing file in pickup directory.".

The specific error code was 0xC00402CE.

The message sender was admin@snowmobilefanatics.com.

Not sure what's causing this. You any of you have any solutions, please let me know.

looks like some e-mail are trying to be sent, but they aren't going out correctly. Is this the same server that your forum is one? If so, do you have subscriptions enabled? Is it possible that these are subscription e-mails that are trying to be sent? Just guessing...

I did a search on Google for Unable to deliver this message because the follow error was
encountered: "Error is processing file in pickup directory."
and got back quite a few results.

maybe this one? http://lists.evolt.org/archive/Week-of-Mon-20011112/061356.html

Well it seems mail IS working. There were some router issues tonight. I wonder if that cleared up my problem or not.

Still getting error messages. I get three seperate error files for each mail. a .bdp file, a .bad file and a .bdr file.

The bdp contains:

Ok, I have made a slight bit of progress while investigating even more. I stopped smtp services and allows the mail to build up. There are all these blank messages being sent to nobody. Is there any way in inc_mail.asp I can set the message content to show me from which file that inc_mail.asp is being called from before sending the message so I can send it in the message? Thanks!
