I need to have a webpage that when you click on a link will play a dvd inside of a webpage where the dvd will be in the cdrom. I have looked over the internet and have not seen any code to inbed a dvd into a webpage |

your best bet would be to convert and repak it to windows media, DVD bandwidth would kill your website, it is a much higher frame rate than one would normally expect to view in a web page |

Huw, I think he's meaning the DVD is in the (local) DVD reader. Although I'd still go with Huw's suggestion - cut it down to Media Player (or similar) format.
This won't work at all

Yea website will be run from there companys web server, but the DVD will be in each local computer that is looking at the website. This is basically going into a exhibit where the computer will be installed so it would only have the stuff on the computer I need to make it all run. |

ain't possible Brad, since everyones DVD would possibly have a different drive letter, so wouldn't no where to load the video from unless you write an installer and write a config file with the dvd path in it. Drop me an email so we can discuss this, the http://www.dipex.org website will also run directly from a dvd, so have a fair idea of what is needed for this kind of thing. |

Well here is the deal...
I am buying 11 dell computers that will be put in different areas across the US. Each one will be the exact same computer so I can say the drive letter will always be... E or so on. I will send you an email huw when i get a little more free time but I am thinking like you said before it would be better to have it as a window media file. |

Or copy the VOB's to the hardrive, you can still play them off the hardrive. Re encoding them to something else though also has the added benefit of being able to play it with different media players (including say imbeded ActiveX objects) becuase you'll be removing the encryption too. |

No they're not, and I would assume in this instance its probably not going to be one thats encrypted or copyrighted. |
