What code could I put in an include file to recognize carriage returns (BR) from a field in the database?

This will put a <br> at carriage returns.

Replace(THE_FIELD_FROM_DATABASE,chr(13) & chr(10), "<br>")

Will that work in an include file?

I'm getting this error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01c2'

Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment: 'Replace'

myStr = replace(theStr, vbcrlf, "<br />" & vbcrlf)

It works, but you need to makesure that the field you are replacing with does not conatin "Nulls" or Empty values.
