I am running SQLServer and I keep getting a error 80040E4A, I dont know what it means. But it says that the login is not allowed. I am kinda stuck as to what to do. Please help me and advise me what to do.

I dont have many people on my boards, but the few that I have, use it a lot. I was also trying to save the database. Looks like it is not working. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

did you setup the database username in enterprise manager?

I suspect a permissions error, but please post the entire error message so that we can know exactly what is happening.

This might be a dead issue, but this is most definitely a permissions issue that takes place generally after attempting to RESTORE a database.

I normally have to delete the user and re-add them to ensure that user has proper access.

Abashed the Devil stood and felt how awful goodness is.
