Before I format and re-install my os, I know that I need to make sure all drivers are ready, isn't it? So, if I want to know the VGA 's driver, how do I check it? If I print the summary report under device manager, is it enough? |

From my experience this isn't true.
With most AGP cards, it should install fine, but if you have OnBoard VGA display, you may need the drivers, otherwise you might find yourself limited to 640x480 screen resolution. Also if you play games, you might need the Video Card MFG display drivers. |

The OS is Window 98 SE. By the way, I still haven't solve my problem. This computer still in 640x480 screen resolution. What should I do now? I went to http://www.belarc.com/ to download the program to check the VGA and I got under Display
Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) [Display adapter] Super VGA 1024x768 [Monitor]
Please help. Thanks. |

If all else fails, take the card out of the machine and find out what brand/version it is, put it back in, head to their website and look for latest drivers. |
