Semi-snitzish, but not having seen it being used elsewhere and finding it quite useful, I thought I'd flag up use of a bit of menu-swapping javascript (modified from http://www.jsmadeeasy.com/ s/Forms/Menu%20Swapper/ that can be used to re-order, omit or include discrete elements on a site (most obviously the front page where I have seen a lot going on on a lot of Snitz sites and personally wanted the option to turn some on and off. My implementation is at http://www.birminghamplus.com and, once logged in you see a My BP link in top right of the home page from which you can chop, change and move elements on the home page. If this is passe/old hat/so last year etc apologies, if not I'm happy to discuss further. |
