David, have you changed the second listing for msnbot to search engine spider? It is listed twice, as MSNBOT/0.1 and msnbot/0.11? Change the newer version and it should work for you
Still shows as guest, i've got the same code as nickw posted, it's also showing GOOGLE (googlebot) as as guest |

Ok. I cannot say that I understand why it does that, and I don't have any other suggestions at the moment either.
Strange though that Google shows as guest, as that one displays as spider for me (Im using the original designations). |

Anyone else getting members who are on any of the PM pages having nothing in the "Current Page" section?
I installed Opera last night and left it refreshing the AU page every 5 minutes for the night, when I got up this was a couple of new agents waiting for me...the strange thing is that it's IP was my own IP address..looks like Opera's doing wacky stuff.
quote: Agent="WebTrends/3.0 (WinNT)" IP: xxx.178.250.xxx Agent="vt olftdqhviaqrUojixnlutpspujbf cr" IP: xxx.178.250.xxx Agent="Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MS FrontPage 4.0)" IP: xxx.178.250.xxx
Update. 3 more spiders added. You can get my list from here |

wow!!!
You've all been pretty busy I see....
I bet someone by now has a massive list of agents?
Is anyone compiling a master list?
Sorry I have not had time to stick with this mod.... If someone wants to take it over, it's fine with me. |

Chuck, post the PM problem with AU in a new topic as that isn't related to this one.
Rob, Im not aware of anyone who has said that they were compiling a master list. NickW is the last one who posted an updated list. |

I don't see the same problem in the AU base code (for the version that I use anyhow), just in this modded version (I run the pair side by side to check). I'll check out the thread anyhow. Cheers.
I found the bug that caused the above.
The modded AU page uses refers to strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_0153* that are not in the LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_*.asp files themselves.
Adding these lines to whichever LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_*.asp file you use (LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_1033.asp is english).
Line #120 which should be: strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01520 = "'s MSN Messenger address"
Add this just after it strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01530 = "View their PM list" strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01531 = "Changing PM options" strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01532 = "Sending a new PM" strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01533 = "Replying to a PM" strLangMOD_Ls3kAU_01534 = "Reading a PM" |

Ok, Im glad you found the problem.
The changes needed for the PM mod is divided into two places in the readme-file for the PM-mod (the second one lists those changes you mentioned). |

It turns out you need to use:
"Yahoo! Slurp||YAHOO||SEARCH ENGINE SPIDER**" But you also have to put it towards the start of the start of the list otherwise it will be displayed as Mozilla 5.x.
Updated to include Firefox browser detection. |

Alright I gotta unrestrict you then. I've been having issues lately with people registering under "established" names. |
