I've installed Snitz 3.4.03 forum, and then installed Red1's Recurr_b3 calendar. I've added three users, giving each a different level of forum permissions (in the Forum_Members table, M_LEVEL field). Principal is at level 3 (Admin), Teacher is at level 2 (Moderator), and Student is at level 1 (viewer). I also have the original administrator as the first level 3 Admin.
After installing the calendar mod, I created three new Categories.
School - admin & principal are moderators
Class - admin, principal & teacher are moderators
Lesson - admin & teacher are moderators
For some reason, the admin and principal are the only ones who can post to the calendar. The "Add an event:" pull-down menu is not even visible if they are not forum admins. If I change either teacher or student to M_LEVEL-3, then they can post to the calendar as well.
So, why is only the forum's admins able to post to the calendar, even if each can post to their own categories in which they were assigned moderators permissions?
