I am trying to create a page that will allow the users to see and print invoices. The only problem is when printing a webpage you get the page name, number of pages to print, file location and date.
Does anyone know a way around this? |

That's a user-defined setting. Just as setting the page orientation, this isn't something you can change, or at least not without taking control of the user's computer, which hardly anyone will allow. |

Once you choose "Print background colors and images" from the Advanced tab of the Internet Options, if you do a "Print Preview" it will show you exactly what will print. |

If you can/want to run an activeX object you can also use this: http://www.meadroid.com/sx_intro.asp Even the free version is pretty impressive and powerful. It allows for yu to set printing parameters such as: portrait|langscape, print bg colors, headers|footers, margins. The full version has a lot more options.
I haven't used it myself, but I have the paperwork and will be implementing a test case in a couple of weeks.
