Tip #2, always work on a backup, never the original.

You should place your forum on a server, connected to the Internet. This could be done via Win2000 Prof., or adequate XP Prof. -

For the registration, yo have the necessary data or passwords. -

To have it online, I use www.connectjack.de that is reliable. -

see if I have to setup the forum from scratch to sort this is there any way I can keep the members accounts so that they can get back on without registering again

if you reinstall the forum and run setup again, you should not lose anything database related,
including your members tables.

The members are in the database. If you have a backup, it will go the right way, you won't loose anyone. - I use MS Access, Jet 4.0, in need call me removed phone number - dayve. - Gz, Yep
