What does this icon really mean?

I honestly thought it was the same as "Ditto", but mispelled. Now I'm pretty sure it actually means something else, but what?

I'm thinking this may not be as innocent as I once thought.

according to their smilies list, it's supposed to mean Ditto (see http://www.astronomy.com/community/forum/pop_new_smiles.asp )

Sounds like someone wanted a lazy way to say "me too!"

Ive seen signs like that were it points and say Im with Stupid, but I think someone just misspelled it and nobody had the files to redo the images.

I know, that's one of the forums I support.

I'm just wondering because when I dump the word in Google, it comes up with quite a few results.
http://www.google.com/search?q=dito

When I click on the link in Google to translate some of the sites which appear in the results, Google will say that it is translating from French, Italian, Portuguese, or German.

When I use Google's Translation tools, here's what I get:

Italian to English -- finger
Portuguese to English -- said
French to English -- Sorry, this text cannot be translated
German to English -- Sorry, this text cannot be translated

Babelfish results in the same.

I'm just hoping it doesn't mean "finger" as in...you know what I mean.
