No need to copy the database, simply delete all the other files related to the v3.3 forums, upload the 3.4 files and run setup.asp which will make all the necessary updates to your existing database.

I'm not personally familiar with the SH portal so maybe someone else can tell you whether you can upgrade from a non-SH 3.3 to SH 3.4. If not then you should be able to upgrade to standard 3.4 and then convert to SH. As I said though, I'm not familiar with SH's portal so you'd be best off waiting for someone else to confirm this or post your question in ServerHacker's forums.

I think there are instructions with Sh's modded forum for upgrading an existing database. The most logical approach would be to upgrade your own forum first, then follow Sh MOD instructions

Somehow I don't think this will work, because if there are calls to DB tables that are non-existent in your DB; you'll get errors.

I think what you need to do is first upgrade baseline 3.4 and update the DB to 3.4, run the SH update scripts, then upload the SH code.

==============
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e37'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_ACTIVE_USERS'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.

/myforum/inc_func_common

i've tryed to ask on Sh forum but no one is answering there.

Did you run setup.asp after uploading your SH files?

it is a fully modified Snitz 3.4.3 forum. download the full V8 zip, run the dbs files, point the new config.asp to your existing forum, and upload all the files. it should be straighforward. any problems post them on serverhacker's forum.

I looked over at SH's forum and found these dbs files:

http://www.shnforum.com/forum/file_library.asp?showmethefile=5&thatcat=12&thiscat=SH+Moded+Forum+Code

I would upload them one at a time. Log on to your forum as the admin. Go to the admin options. Choose "Mod Setup". In the pulldown menu choose whichever mod dbs_ you just uploaded. For example, you just uploaded dbs_active_users.asp, in the pulldown choose "Active User Mod v.X.X".
Once that completes, run from your browser, "http://yoursite.com/forum/setup.asp"(fill in with your site info). Then go to the next dbs uploaded and repeat.
I think this should work. You may even be able to upload them all at once. I would probably do them one at a time for my own peace of mind. Maybe others much more knowledgable than me have better advice.
You may want to consider getting basic Snitz and performing only the mods you want and need. You will have a harder time getting help from here for SH's moded forum and help from SH's site is very slow. Besides, doing the mods yourself is a real learning experience.

I am not sure what exactly the problem is but, it has to do with the stars that are displayed under the username (based on posts)
