I recieve so much spam each day, (as most of you probably do too) that I am finding new ways to get around them.
What I am looking for is an email client that allows me to view the email headers of the emails, before I download them. And allows me to delete them without actually downloading them. I can easily see from the email headers if it is spam or not.
What I currently use is a program called Ultrafunk Popcorn, which downloads the headers of the emails, (the email address and the subject of the email) and then gives me a chance to delete/forward/reply/download those emails. This is a lightweight email client and not a full fledge email client, like Outlook Express.
After deleting the spam, I use Mozilla Mail to download the emails from my account.
But using 2 programs to get my email is getting a bit of a hassle. Been using them for a number of months now.
So I was wondering if anyone knows of an email client that combines both features. Full fledge email client, like Outlook or Mozilla Mail and allows me to view the headers before I download them. So I don't waste time downloading spam.
If not, I'll just stick with what I got. |

A friend of mine uses MailWasher, but it's still the two program juggle really. MailWasher can reject emails for various reasons so your spam levels are reduced. |

Looked into SAProxy and Bloomba ? I haven't tried Bloomba yet but been hearing good stories about it.
BTW, you know we are now tagging all email with [SPAM] in the subject of all our POP3 accounts Davio ? |
