I'm tring to implement the login from outside of the forum, but when I do, my images are messed up and I get a "type mismatch" error.

I've set

<!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/config.asp" -->
<!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/inc_func_common.asp" -->
<!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/inc_header.asp" -->
<!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/inc_news.asp" -->
<!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/inc_footer.asp" -->

using the "homepage.asp" from one of the mods.

Do I need to add " & strForumURL & " to all the paths in all the above includes?

Not really, but your include statements will only work if you've moved the files to the level above your forum directory.

The "portal.asp" is just one level above. I plan on renaming it to "default.asp" once I get it working, so that'll be my homepage.

Why don't you try the Universal Login mod?

I was using David's Portal MOD and trying to implement the "portal.asp" outside my forum.

What is the Universal Login MOD going to do?

I'm needing a portal to tie my site into the forum seemlessly. I don't understand why all the links and images are messed up.
