Why type of issues do you run into if your website shows the complete path to your file. I know this is bad and we dont want it, but I neeed some valid reasons for the programmer.
Dont have one in particular. I was ust wondering what the possible implications were. Obviosly it would be worse if they had access to some dangerous scripts etc.
If you have to question if something is a security risk or not, wouldn't it be better to play it safe, and not reveal that kind of info? I mean less information a potential hacker to your site can get, about the files on your server, is better than showing them the full path to a file.
