A user just reported that he got a error when he tried to register. I went and tried to register a test account, sure enough here is what I got:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'

Number of query values and destination fields are not the same.

/rebforum2/register.asp, line 577

Any ideas? Snitz is version 3.4.03. The only mod done has been Active Users and everything seemed to be working. Any help would be appreciated. I was wanting my board to grow....

You must have missed adding a line or two to a sql statement in register.asp. Look over your changes to that file in the lines preceding line 577.

According to bbedit, this is line 577:
my_Conn.Execute (strSql),,adCmdText + adExecuteNoRecords

Create a new line just above 577 and insert :

Response.Write strSql

or read the links in my sig about rs.open

Just fixed it. Not sure what exactly was wrong. I grabbed a fresh copy of register.asp and then did the active user mod again and it seems to work. Thanks guys!
