I have been running Snitz 3.3.03 for a couple of years. I was going to upgrade to 3.4.03. I was trying to set up Active users mod on the new forum and I got the following errorrs:
Dropping Table..
Table does not exist
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dropping Table..
Table dropped succesfully
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adding Column M_AUHIDE...
ALTER TABLE FORUM_MEMBERS ADD COLUMN M_AUHIDE varchar(1) NULL
Column already exists
Adding Column M_AUHIDE...
ALTER TABLE FORUM_MEMBERS ALTER COLUMN M_AUHIDE varchar(1) NULL
Column altered successfully
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2147467259 | The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had an old version of Active Users in my old forums. My question is should I lose my messages and users and start with a fresh new database? Should I trust the old one? Any advice would be appreciated.

can you setup a test environment for 3.4 ?

Most of those errors are ok, but not the '2147467259' one.

If all else fails, upgrade to 3.4, keep your old db, and drop the AU MOD - I don't think there's anything worse than starting from nothing again.

Thanks for the help. I suspect that all the tinkering I did when I first started fumbling around with Snitz might have messed something up. I started fresh. New version and no "major" mods this time.

www.snitzbitz.com carries most MODs, but not AU.

Crash has a lot of MODs at http://www.crashhosting.nl:81/filelibrary.asp including the AU MOD. Make sure you check the "compatible" column as well.
