I just have one question.
Should we use the post.asp or create a new Asp for the admin functions for the group categories?
I can see the new asp being easy to update a old forum and easy for new options to this mod.
But then there is now a new file

Snitz Alpha with Group Category Mod
See Link that Kal posted below
Includes Snitz alpha version with Group Category Mod Database already updated, just change connect string - db is in tools. Also includes fix to allow people to register.
Need help with the following 1-Create "Edit/Delete" functions for Category Groups in the Admin section 2-Fix: Once adding a category to a Category Group, you cannot delete it, even when moving the category back to the left using the arrows in the admin system, it does not remove it. 3-Make a new category added post in the category group that you are currently viewing, as of now it only posts in the main category group regardless of where you are in the forum.

OK, all most completed with a first release of this.
You can see the current code in a production server at Kal's Forum
The Snitz group mod Development can be found in this Category Group Kal's Forum - Snitz Mod Development
the admin section can be looked at here Demo admin/admin name/password
Many thanks to "tschive" he did a great job on the admin config
Just a FYI We are working different banners for different groups.
To see a example goto Kal's Forums and use the cat group select to go to Run , windows, or Forum development, you will the banner change
This is some good stuff

Yes thank-you... I'm hoping that it might be made to work in sr2 (I'm willing to do this myself.)
Looking forward...

Next would be to create Admins per Groups
So a admin of a group could create and control forums in the group and anything under it

Very very interested. I have many categories and topics and this would be awesome to shorten the main page.
A couple of ?'s
- Will this be something that we can integrate into our current forum? - I am running HuwR's version. Is this compatable?
Thanks
