MOD Name: Forum Config Order v.1.0b
Description: Allows you alternate ways of changing the order in which your categories/forums are displayed.
There are two versions:
phpBB Style - acts just like it does in phpBB, all forums/categories are listed and you click a link to move them up and down in the list.
Javascript Style - Categories and forums show up in different select boxes, you then move them up and down in the list by clicking on buttons. Once the order is the way you like it, you press the submit button.

Installation instructions
note: you cannot install both at the same time, well, maybe you can but that's for you to figure out.
1.) Make a backup copy of your admin_config_order.asp
2.) copy the admin_config_order.asp file from one of the archives that you downloaded to your forum directory.
3.) Try it out!

Great mod, works perfectly.
As far as i can see there are no problems. Running script on a Win2k server.
The only thing, the forum is not auto reloading with new order after finishing. |

Hi,
This looks like a great mod. The phpbb style worked, but I can't get the js version to work. There are several problems.
1 - The forums / categories don't fit in the window, it's too narrow and can't be resized.
2 - There isn't any admin access required, it simply let me in without the password.
3 - The icons for the up and down arrows are missing.

| Same problems specialy the 1. For the number 3 pb just make a copy of icon_go_down.gif and icon_go_up.gif in the main forum directory |
