I've a submit button on a standrd HTML form, to which I have assigned the accesskey L. On the text labels of the other form elements I've been able to underline the appropriate letter to indicate which accesskey it refers to, but I can't seem to undeline the appropriate letter on the submit button?

submit doesn't support accesskey. you could make it a regular button with an onClick event to submit the form.

Pressing alt-l submits the form, so I guess I can't style the button text then?

Scratch my first post anyhow. I did see that the submit button supports accesskey but the thing is, it does not support the label I think.

(buttons get their "label" from their value, which cannot contain html formatting.)

How would a keyboard-only user normally submit a form - any idea?

Ah, I'd best put the submit button back in the tabindex then! Thanks.

or create a graphical submit button that underlines the letter you want.

You can also hit the space bar to submit buttons once you've tabbed to select them.
