hi!

is anyone able to talk about the following error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'Session'

/webwork/fhforum/config.asp, line 41

I can replicate this error by un-checking the Enable Session State in the web site properties page. Make sure you have enabled sessions in IIS.

I agree with what Hamlins said, sounds very much like Sessions are disabled in IIS.

OK, forgive my ignorance, I'm somewhat new to IIS. Where exactly do I enable sessions?

I'm running Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

right click the website in IIS, click the "home directory" tab, click configuration, click the options tab, make sure "enable session state" is checked.
