I got this off of someone forum, how is this possible. Can someone tell me how this is possible?

after doing the forum's backup today i was checking for invalid characters in the messages and posts, after i finished doing so (using a program) i noticed one of the last pm's had another forum's address in it.

Can the PMs be read by other than the intended?

Its not referring to me but i do have a forum. I am glad i can challenge the minds of this forum but would like an answer.

No, not on the site but if you have access to your data base, you can read them.
