I have just set up the edit smilies MOD and everything seemed to be working.. except for the posting (new topic or reply) page.. it just wont load! Quick reply works but whenever I actually try to load the post page I get the 'HTTP 500 Internal server error - The page cannot be displayed' every other page works.. its really annoying does anyone know what might be wrong I have already tried uploading the post.asp page again (the new one that came with the smilie MOD) and it didnt work so I tried the first post.asp I had and it still never worked :|
You can get a more detailed error message by unchecking friendly errors in Internet Explorer (Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Show friendly HTTP error messages). Post the error message you get here along with a text version of the problem file(s).

well.. it seems internet explorer already had that setting set :s The page just doesnt load instead I get a page reading this... The page cannot be displayed There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.
Looks like 1asphost have custom error pages which is going to make things difficult to debug. Try going through the readme for the Mod and double checking that you edited everything correctly. If you're still having problems then post text version(s) of the problem file(s).

No its ok now I've been messing around and I decided to just delete the smiley MOD and then re-install it.. this had made the post.asp run again so everythings fine now.. thanks for your help anyways :)
