Hey all, OK, I had a few problems to deal with and have managed to fix them all, much to my own surprise, they've been around for months I'm just now finally learning enough to fix them myself.
Here's a link to the main forum page: http://ugbc.org/forums/forum/default.asp Here's a link to the homepage for the site http://ugbc.org
Any comments or suggestions, as minute as you may think they are would be greatly appreciated.
My major goals in these forums is a nice looking page that integrates very well with the rest of the site and enough relevant forums to increase student communication (they've been around for about 9 months now and are gradually becoming more active).
Two things I want to work on, 1. Increasing use of the forums, especially through the calendar, I'm working on a way for students to add their own events, and have them displayed on the home page. What other ways do you all think I could get more students posting? (traffic on the site has tripled since myself and three different co-directors took over so that's one step forward)
2. Icons, most of them have white as their background, is there any way I can get the psds or something to change the matte on them to the proper bg color so that they don't stand out the way they do now?
Cheers, Matt |

nice colorscheme you picked! I also like the icons, however they are not completely transparent at the edges. If I knew how to fix that, I'd be using the very same at my site. |

have you made any modifications to post.asp? That black row shouldn't be there, but by taking a quick look at the source of the page I couldn't immediately see what's wrong (I'm not really "here" with my thoughts though, so it's quite possible I just looked over the problem)...
It looks really nice, but in the header part the image on the right seems to be made for a background that has a slight bevel or something, and the shaded part doesn't move all the way to the right if I maximize my browser (at 1600x1200px). |

Giving this a big bump b/c I want to nominate myself for an award :)
Still looking for constructive criticisms, cheers. |
