Note: if you have a lot of posts, I suggest you archive just a few forums at a time, and not try to do them all at once. Archiving seems to be pretty server intensive, and it can cause the page to time out (although the archive process seems to continue even after the page times out...at least it did for me using MSSQL).
--Jördan It's a wasted day if you don't spend at least part of it flying upside down.
I have the same question, but I can't find the option in the Admin Menu. There are only the following options:
Forum Feature Configuration:
Main Forum Configuration Feature Configuration Member Details Configuration Ranking Configuration Server Date/Time Configuration Email Server Configuration Font/Table Color Code Configuration Bad Word Filter Configuration UserName Filter Configuration Category/Forum Order Configuration Site Integration Configuration
Other Configuration Options and Features:
Anonymous Posting Setup SmileManager Plus Admin Members Pending (0) Moderator Setup E-mail List Server Information Forum Variables Information Update Forum Counts Group Categories Configuration MOD Setup (Alternative MOD Setup) Check Installation (Run after each upgrade !) IP Search
So no Archiving as you can see. Or is it called something else or hidden in a specific part of the menu?
Its in the Feature Configuration. Archive functions. Turn it on. Then you will have the function to archive at the far right of the forum with all the other functions.
Archive Forum Topics will also be added to the Other Configuration Options and Features:
