I just installed the avatar mod on my forum and dont see anything in the admin options or profiles options for adding avatars.
If I go directly to the .../admin_avatar_home.asp page, then I can mess witht the settings.
Any ideas as to what I am missing?

I have also added all the code to the files for the forum. when I double check my work, all seems fine.
Is there a forum restart that needs to happen or something?
I'm so lost! |

Well, first, are the avatars showing up in your forum? And second, are you sure you followed all the directions carefully, step by step? Especially admin_home.asp? |

No avatars are showing up at all. It's like all the necessary code is there in each page, I just can't see any changes at all.
No avatar setup link in the admin section No avatar selection option under profiles No avatars in posts

Did you add this code
" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_avatar_home.asp"">Avatar Setup</a></span></LI>" & vbNewLine & _ to admin_home.asp? |

Well, good news.
I restarted IIS and it seemed to fix it all!
Now all I need to know is where to get all the avatars.
Thanks for all your efforts TestMagic!! |

And you're not seeing the link on admin_home.asp?
Then that sounds like it could be a caching issue. Have you tried F5 to refresh the page? |
