hey all,
just as i was working on the file sharing mod getting it ready for the release, a friend of mine was sending some pm's and then told me there should be a block list so that i can choose certain members to block pms from them.
so i worked on it and it worx fine and i thought i should share it with you guys.

pm_blocklist_addon_1.31.zip
you might need to logon first

Installation:
-see zipped readme
Features:
-each member has his own block list that he may add/remove members from.
-any member listed in the block list can't send a message to the owner of that list.
-When viewing a pm message, member can add the current sender to the block list directly.
-new 'block list' icon has been added (thanx Serverhack)
-member can browse all members by simply pressing on the browse 'all members' button to add a new member to the block list. (thanx Havvoc for the idea)
Features(NEW IN THIS UPDATE):
-admins can write a list to select which member ids that members can't block such as admins moderators etc... and ofcourse they can simply leave that list empty.
-blocked member names listed now link to each members' corresponding profile.
oh, and when i am free i will create an icon for it just like the inbox,outbox,options and send new icons found on the top right when you view your inbox done (thanx serverhacker)!!

rground thanx very much, i updated the zip file, and thanx for havvoc in the shnforum.com, a small glitch was corrected. DBS file now is included plus in the readme i wrote which part in the privatesend_info.asp should be added.
so people enjoy this and i hope ya'll like it.

he can block everyone except the admin...
if you wish i can change the code so member CANT block admins and moderators too. do you think this will be better brother??
or should i create some sort of list with member IDs that the member CANT block and this list can be set by admin?? |

I get this error message when I use the "Ready edited" files. I have not installed an other private message mods so that can't be the problem.

I also get this error message on the same page.

Include file not found

The include file 'inc_UploadConfig.asp' was not found.
-----
If I delete the line of code calling to include that file that is when the above error message arises. Both of these error messages appear when I try to view a private message.

first sorry for the late response, i was very very busy lately...
well your error is probably due to different versions you and i have.. i suggest you back up your current privateread.asp, apply the changes to YOUR version, and if error still occurs revert to the back up version.
