I'm looking for a MOD that would allow the members of a forum to express their votes/opinion, in other words populate a certain number of columns in a grid and then allow all the users to see the result, I was hoping that the poll MOD could work for this but the concept is just a little different, here the process should not be anonimous and the result should not be only the "sum" of the entries. The idea came from a forum for fans of a singer where the member could show which gigs in the tour are going to attend and post some comment, but obviously could expand for some other purposes.
Actually what would be needed to simplify it,is just a loose coupling with the database, i mean something that could read from the cookie the member name and allow for that user to insert a "row" in a separate database. if somebody knows of something similar that would be great, i'm not a skilled asp programmer and create it from scratch would be tough thanks a lot in advance paolo
No, i've installed that MOD but it doesn't feature (unless i've not seen it) a way for all the users to see all the people who did choose an option, and also do not leave room to add some comment or free text field for their entries
