I don't know if you've experimented with any of the new AdSense formats, but when I switched from the 468 x 60 banner to a 728 x 90 leaderboard, my clickthrough rate went up by 3-4x.
Now I'm very happy.  |

A combination of the inline rectangle and the leaderboard has increased my CTR by five times. You gotta love Google.

I'm not using the rectangles and leaderboards on the same page. I'm using leaderboards on the forum, shop, radio station and record label pages and the inline rectangle on the band pages. I've disguised it to appear as content (although, you could argue that it is!). Actually, it's a shame you can't change the font/font size as this would help even more. Perhaps something else that Google will add in the future.
