Basicly, it's so you can list the "classified" category in the main Forums listing. It also allows you to put it in "active topics". Giving the count of "new ad's since your last visit".
I'm running MySQL, but the SQL syntax should work fine with MSSQL or Access.

Since the link no longer works in the old post on page 2 does anyone have this addon or the code? Alot of my members have asked about having new ads added into the "Active Topics" |

I have a demo (well, it is in use) at Classic Motorcycling Australia
The MOD is a classifieds section linked in to the forum.

That looks really nice the way it's setup linked into the forum. I also might add that your forum is setup really nice and looks great! Great job on your forum setup!
If you happen to have that MOD I sure would appreciate it so I can link the classifieds section to My forums.
Thanks!

I already posted the mod and it is working. I need to delete and change some of the categories. Is there a quick way to do it without downloading the whol db to my pc and then reuploading it. I tried to make a little ASP page to do it, but I am not very good and couldnt figure it out |

Hi Again,
OK still looking for "Classified_CatListing_Addon"
Emailed AWD_ENVY, but it bounced.
Any-one by chance got it and prepared to email it to me?
Thanks in advance.
Neil. |

Neilr: I been looking also, If you run into it PLEASE let me know and I will do the same to you.
If I don't run into that add-on soon I will be doing away with the Classifieds Mod and just add a Classifieds forum instead per my members requests. 70% of my members want a new Classified Ad to be listed on Active and Recent Topics. |
