i uploaded everything from the Snitz folder to my CGI-BIN folder.
is that cool?

okay, first, do you have a special folder to upload your database to? where is that folder in relation to your forum folder?
second, upload the whereami.asp file to your forum folder, run that file in your browser, and post the results here. |

No to #1 - if your host doesn't provide a special database folder, go ahead and put the database in the cgi-bin folder (I think it will have the appropriate permissions on it) You might also want to rename the database so that it has a .asp extension instead of a .mdb extension, that way people can't download your database.
Yes to #1 and put all the other files in that one. |

It varies, but the ones I've seen are databases, db, _private.
You should be able to create your own folder if you wanted to, but it would require a few extra steps. |
