Very Smooth. One suggestion I would like to make if I can...... The area of code that is added to inc_profile.asp uses the forum back ground color where the images are displayed. I personnally found it very difficult to read some of the numbers because of that.
I changed the color to hard coded white in that table row which made it much easier to read the images.
Thanks!! |

Great job! I did some security testing around and seems to work OK, but it would be nice to improve it by adding alphabetical characters to have hard work for automation scripts.
Thanks rgrund! |

hey rgrund, i love your mod, tested it and worked like a charm, i even changed the 2 numbers you use to pass the random code (50000 and 17456) and changed the length of the number to display from 6 to another number.
this way even if someone knew that i took the code from you and thus he knows how it works, he will NEVER know what the new variables are.
i suggest that anyone who installs this should do the same thing. |

rgrund, forgive me, I cannot quite follow the instructions included in the readme file. In the inc_profile.asp file you say 'Goto line 507 the section above should look like this' - the lines that follow (point 2 in readme), should they already be present or are they to be added after line 507? Where then to insert lines included in point 3 of readme? Similarly, in the instructions for the register.asp file, you instruct to 'Goto line 275 (line 274 should end with End If)' - my line 274 does not end in End If. And line 717 does not include WriteFooter. I wonder, could you indicate what the content of the sections immediately prior to where you instruct the new lines to be added is so that I can more easily identify the correct locations to insert the new lines in both files? |

nope, I haven't, but this sounds like a good mod. I've seen similar tactics used at Yahoo and Ticketmaster. |

Never heard about it here at Snitz, but I remember reading that it was a problem for some PHPBB users in the past. |
