I inserted the hotkeys MOD into my forum. Not sure how to work it I decided to see what would happen when I went here. When I did I got this error:

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bb9'

Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.

/inc_hotkey_buttons.asp, line 11

I don't use the MOD but looking at the readme file, it says to click on the hotkeys button when making a post. Have you tried that?

Yes. If you would like to look at it go to my forum and login as SnitzTester : snitz
You can then test it out and see what you think.

I'm confused. So you had already tried that? So, what is your question?

Besides, I can't test it out because you've set that user as a read-only user.

Sorry, I had problems with that test account so that is why you have readonly.
My question is how does hotkeys work. There is nothing that tells me how I use it.

Well, according to the readme, you click the hotkey button when you go to post. What happens when you do that?

I removed SnitzTester from the "clink". It would be easier if you went there.

The submit button is missing in the window that pops up when clicking the hotkeys button on your site.

But this is how the hotkeys should work:
click on the button when posting.
type in a name : Test
under that type [ b]This is a test[/b]
click the (missing) submit button.

now refresh the posting page, a new button appears, when clicked upon, [ b]this is a test[/b] gets entered in the message box.

that's a good question, did you modify pop_hotkey_edit.asp and delete it by accident?
It's probably just a matter of putting <input type="submit" value="Submit"> into the form on that page.

I looked and sure enough there was the submit code. Click here to view a txt doc of the pop_hotkey_edit.asp file.
