I have a big problem. A few days ago did created a forum. I logged in and closed it for other people because I prefered to make a nice setup before new members joined. When I checked the "members" menu, I was supprised to see there were two members. I saw my own name and an other named General. Probably there was made another account too automatic or for accident. Now I find out that I can not edit that account. I also have'nt acces to the MOD setup menu.

My conclusion is: That other name is the Forum Admin and Im only Administrator. Thats my problem !!

How can I get rid of that other name and make myself Forum Admin again.

Thank you all for reading this, I hope you can helpe me out.

If it is brand new then delete the database and reinstall a new one.

When you setup the forum, you probably set it up using the other account name and therefore it is the super admin.

look at the member id number of the account you want to use by going to the members profile (look in the address bar for the id). Then in config.asp change the id for the Super Admin from 1 to the other number. After that, you should be able to delete that other account.
