How come I was edited? Is invalid location a no no here? How can they browse my forum? I thought they had to register first? You mean like FAQ and register? |

First of all, you were edited most likely because you did not post your question in the right forum. (You seem to have a habit of that.)
I don't know what you mean by invalid location. You mention it in the topic title but then your post says nothing about it. If you don't give details then we can't help you.
Your post does refer to a guest. A guest can be on any page that someone who is not logged in has access to. If you are restricting registration, then they can get to the login page, the FAQ page, the policy page, and the register page. |

oh because it was an invalid page in active users it should be in the mod section - guess i don't know enough about it yet
when i went to active users it said the quest was in an "invalid location" this is what active users said about the guest that was #1 they were in an 'invalid location" , it wasn't me saying this about the guest it was the active users
"invalid location" makes no sense to me either so i can understand your confusion , it is not something I would have used to descibe the location of a guest , but the makers of the mod think differently than us |

Your post said "I am seeing this for Guest" ... reading that I did not know what you mean by "this" ... that's why I said you need to give more details if you are having problems. I don't use the mod, so I don't know what Invalid Location means either; you'll have to wait for someone to come by who does know. Or, you can take a look at the code to see under which conditions it will display that message. |

Come to think of it ... it might be that the guest was on a page that you added for a MOD or something and Active Users doesn't know about that page. I'm just guessing though. |

Yup, if you have a look at the WhatPage function beginning on line 338 of avtive_users.asp you'll see that it uses a Select Case statement to return the title and URI of the page the visitor is currently viewing. If the page they're on is not covered by the statement then the function will return "Invalid Location" (see the Case Else part of the statement). The reason for this is that the visitor is more than likely viewing a page you added as part of another mod as Nikkol already pointed out. You can stop this happening by adding more cases to the statement for each additional file.
