OK, I recently downloaded and installed the fully moded forum and the default login given is admin. I've logged in and made a few changes, but now I want to change the super admin Id to something else. How can I do this?

Also, how do I access the database? I've got Access 97, but when I try to open the database file, I get an error saying the file isn't supported or something. How do I do it?

You need Access 2000 to open the database.

Change the ID of the superadmin in config.asp

Yeah I did this search and found the link that you have directed me to, but I am still lost.

Do I change the member ID number to 2? I tried this and now no-one is super admin and I can't delete the default admin account woth my other admin account. So I changed it back.

What number is the 2nd member? How can I find this out?

Go to members.asp and click the member profile for the member you want as SuperAdmin. Then the id is the number at the end of the URL:

No need to call yourself names, it's not an obvious thing to find a member id if you're not that familiar with the code.
Anyway, glad you got it working.
