Whoops... Sorry about that. I installed both MODs at the same time and just got confused about which forum I was posting in... my apologies... btw I posted that before I saw what you said. I must have been typing my thing in while you posted yours. |

I do have one suggestion however. I think adding this to the UserGroups MOD would be a hit. We all know that spammers are out there and I think that my suggestion would be a good "lesson" for them. Currently I dont have any spammers on my forum but I know they are coming. My suggestion is this: Why dont you make an option where you can create a "spammer" group and place certain users in it where you can limit the number of posts per day that they may post. In this way they will have to be more conservative with their posts. I know of ppl (from another forum that uses snitz) who are truly interested in the forum but know no limit to posts. By introducing this it may keep them in check. What do you think? Is it possible?
Even if you dont want to include the option in a release I am still wondering if it were even possible that you could make this for me? |

reducks, I'm much too busy working out bugs and testing the current MOD. There is no way I can think about doing that right now; that's why I said maybe for a future release. |

reducks, I've already posted the fix for that on the first page of this topic. Since this is a BETA, you should read the entire topic to make sure you install any fixes. |

Just a question. Did you update the files in the download with all of the fixes that have been posted in this thread?

you're welcome in the next few weeks I hope to have the official version out now that we've had time to test it. It will include the fixes I've posted here and a few other things. |

After extensive testing using the full install MOD package, I followed the readme to install this on my modded forum. Though one of the more complicated MODs I have installed, installation was easy and successful. The readme was clear, easy to follow, and the checklist was a great help to prevent skipped steps! By putting the code in textareas, copying was easy, and the line breaks were preserved. My line numbers frequently differed due to the mods already installed, but I was always able to work things out through the 'surrounding code' box. So, thanks for such a good readme! Now if all other mod authors would do the same...
I also appreciate the prompt and complete help every time I found a bug or had a question. Thanks again for a great MOD! |

Hey Nikkol?
Is it possible for your MOD to pick up a value from the user's profile, say like M_COUNTRY, and then automatically place that user into a predefined usergroup upon registration? Etymon
