Hi,
Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but i could find it,

u c i am getting the error;

The Include file '../cal_functions.asp' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.

I,m on a windows 2000 server. i have come accross this b4, but fixed it with \./folder_from_root/folder but this time is it not having it. i tried the full path, and the full http address but the server doesn't like either - can't find (because its looking 4 relative?) so how do you go up one, other than ../ ?

any ideas anyone?

thanks

why don't you just put the files in the same directory as your forum files so you won't have to specify a directory above it?

Just ask your host to enable parent paths for you. There used to be an exploit involving parent paths so many hosts disabled it, but that was patched some time ago now.
