| Today I had someone come onto my forum using the Snitz Support Forum Test account. I set this up to make it easier for me to be helped out and also for you all to help me out. Anyway, this person came on and insulted all the members on my forum in general. I will not say what he said but I think and hope the person that did this feels very ashamed. I would gladly accept an apology if you would e-mail me here. I do have your IP address and I even though it might not do to much good I hope you just feel ashamed. |

Sorry to hear about your problems.  I guess this is something that could happen quite easily.
It might help if you removed your login and pw info from your signature, and posted it only in posts that really need it, though. |

Could you email me their IP, if there is a match in our database for their IP, then I will also restrict their access to this site. |

Hi,
I am the administrator of www.korgboards.com
We are using Snitz Forum version 3.1 SR4. It has been a pretty stable piece of software, so we made a decision to stick with it. Only recently we have had to ban a few members. Of course the character of these types of individuals causes them to just sign back up with a different ID. Luckily their communication style is apparent and we take care of it. I read, with interest, your post below where you indicated that you could block a member by IP address. Is that a feature of the newer releases of the Snitz software? If so, i will plan to install it.
