Yeah, if you look at your logs almost instantly after someone browsing a page with an add on it on your site, you will notice one of their spiders coming and taking a look at your pages to index them, it's really a pretty good setup. |

Yes, also interesting how they try to hit pages that aren't generally viewable by the public - it doesn't take long for them though |

Hey this is great. I've already made more money than I ever had trying to sell books from Amazon. Of course, I never actually made any money from Amazon...
All I need is for my users to give the ads a few thousand more clicks and I'll have enough money to pay Gremlin for my hosting. |

Is anyone seeing a decrease in ad revenue from Adsense. I am based on many variables:
1. steady 20 percent increase in monthly visitors to site 2. steady 10 percent decrease in monthly revenue 3. 30 percent monthly increase in hits to the Google Adsense links
What's up with this? Is mine just an anomaly or are others seeing the same phenomenon?
If that's the case, I suspect the sponsors are discovering the true worth of their ads and are decreasing the bids. Hate to be such a Cassandra, but it but it couldn't have lasted forever. |

I haven't seen #3, but I've seen the first 2 to some degree. I think on my site that people learn to ignore the ad's. There are a few people that click on a few ad's a day, but isn't it really the same as all internet advertising ? |

Perhaps. But, my site, I thought, really had ads that people wanted to click on and they're ads that I would want to click. Perhaps it's because people really do like brands and Google AdSense ads don't usually run brand-driven sites. Just hypothesizing. |

I use Google AdSense for my site www.BollyFM.net , and making about [figures removed] a day on average, it's a good scheme, and you don't even have to put on those flashy ads which I hate: "You have won!! Click here to claim your prize" |

Faizan,
Cool subject matter. I'm impressed you make that much per day. Good job! How many visitors to your site per day do you have? (not the hits - I don't want to violate the terms of agreement with Google). :)

Quoting revenue figures is a violation as well |

Removed! Thanks for the quick replies...

At my site, I have seen variations in clickthrough rates and visitors, but the adsense revenue has stayed about the same. Right now, I'm at the point where my hosting is paid and a portion of my adwords costs are covered as well.
I understand that there's a similar program from Overture now. Has anyone tried it yet.
