Hi,
I've installed the PM mod, and followed the instructions carefully. Now when I click the PM icon, to send someone a priv msg, everything looks fine, no errors after clicking the 'Send Message' button. However the message is never received. When I click on the 'Preferences' button under Private Messages, I receive the following error message....
<Forum name> private messages are currently turned error '80020009' Exception occurred.
/pm_options.asp, line 103
Suggestions anyone?
Masterao:
I ran the MOD setup from the admin options, and then the default mod setup. (I'm using MS SQL 2000 server for the db) I didn't see any errors after the mod setup.

Do you have the possibility to check the database if you have M_PMRECEIVE in your members-table? The error occurs when it tries to display the M_PMRECEIVE value. |

masterao,
I checked the members table, the M_PMRECEIVE value exists....Think I might try francodepaw's suggestion. (I'm using MS SQL2000 with NTLM authentication btw.)

Francodepaw's suggestion worked! Had to change all references to M_NAME into M_USERNAME. Now it seems to work fine.
Thanks! |

Kewl, that seems to verify that it is a NT Authentication issue and not a MySql problem. Glad to see it worked for you.
