Ok great! And also, when I generate and alert I put 2 in and it keeps popping the window up way more than two times. Whats the deal? |

That's exactly what we are experiencing. In fact, it pops up with every page displayed. |

Is this mod working for people? quote: From the readme.txt
2. Add the following line in your admin_home.asp approx line 1612
" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_alert.asp"">Alert Messages</a></span></LI>" & vbNewLine & _
I think my admin_home.asp has 173 lines. Where does this line go? Am I crazy? |

This a handy little MOD but I also am getting this problem with continuous alerts, even though I have set it to 1. Did anyone manage to solve this problem? if so could they please post and let me know where the problem lies.
Thx. |

in inc_alert.asp, there is a line "UpdSql = UpdSql & "AM_COUNT = " & AMCOUNT2+1 & """, if i set it to AMCOUNT2+2, it looks fine? |

actually i found that you should change the line above, where AMCOUNT2 = RS(AMCOUNT) - 1, remove the -1.
and something wrong with the logic is that, only the first user can get the alert, as rs2 in inc_alert.asp select all users, and the test clause "If not (rs2.EOF or rs2.BOF) then" will quit without doing anything... so either select only the cookietext or add an else to the above if. |
