Installing SmileManager MOD after Poll MOD
============================================

I did all the indicated changes to "post.asp", but when running "dbs_smiles.asp" it returned the following error message,

-2147217865 | Could not find output table 'FORUM_SMILES'.

It apparently added all the new records successfuly, but right at the bottom was the above error message. Afterward I ran "dbs_addoldsmiles.asp" with no problems. I haven't added any new smilies yet, so I don't know, but I have no idea on what to expect either. Is this something I should worry about

If you have encounter something simmilar, even if it was while installing a different MOD, please comment about it here. It might help, thank you!

Ok, indeed it's something I should worry about since in the Post Window no smilies are found.

If you could take a couple of minutes to have a look at my "post.txt" and see what adjustments should be made, i'll appreciate it. Any ideas should do please

...changes made from line 914 to 983. I didn't touch the rest.

Thank you!

I haven't found what exactly went wrong during the "dbs_smiles.asp" set up, but so far I have no problem adding, editing, and excluding new smilies.

Did you add the MOD code to inc_func_common.asp?

Yes I did the changes to "inc_func_common.asp", thank you Aaron.

I had to add all the default smilies one by one. It seems to be working fine, but that's my TestForum. I still have to do the changes to the actual forum and this "Could not find output table 'FORUM_SMILES'" error message bothers me.

If you have any more ideas, just throw them here, appreciated.

There is another DBS file called Add Old Smiles. This adds back the default smiles after installing Smile Manager.

Yes, I ran it second after "dbs_smiles.asp". I think that since "dbs_smiles.asp" couldn't find the output table 'FORUM_SMILES' the old smilies were not installed back. Though the indication was that the re_installation was successful.

Thank you all!
