I have try to create a poll and vote it. And use the other login account to login the forum. when i vote it, it display: You may only vote once per poll! I try to use the other computer to vote the poll, that's fine. And also use the other account to login, i cant vote again.
I think it is a cookie problem, how can i fix that?

Hi tamty,
You'll have to look at the readme file (whatever it may be called) and determine which version of the poll mod you are using. Then do a search here at Snitz using the Poll MOD and the version as your keywords. You can click on the link in my signature if you like. It is for the search here at Snitz.
It does sound like you have a cookie problem. Depending on the version someone may have fixed that problem or it might be as simple as clearing out the cookies in your browser.
There's probably a solution here for your question, but I think the search form will help you the quickest.
Also, this particular forum is where MOD creators post their MODs. You might find more help in the Help: MOD Implementation section. This is the link for that forum:

Cheers,
Etymon

If you set the poll to allow "Everyone" to vote, you can only vote once in a poll from your computer, Doesn't matter which member account you are logged under.
If you set the poll to allow "Members Only" to vote, then you vote using your admin account from the same computer, log out, log back as another account and vote again. Because it tracks which member voted.
So to fix your problem, set the poll to "Members Only". |
