I was removing old topics and posts from my forums, and noticed the numbers listed in the Topics and Posts columns on the Default.asp page are not decreasing to show the proper values that are located within the topics. I have run the Update Forum Counts option from the Admin Menu as well and it does not appear to affect the values or correct them at all.
Basically I have a Forum and it has listed 12 Topics with 53 posts on the Default.asp page. When in reality, there is 1 Topic and 1 reply within the forum after I cleaned it out.
BTW, it does show the proper values on the Forum.asp page, with the Replies and Read columns...
I posted here because I do have a lot of mods installed. But none that I can see that should have caused this behavior. Sorry if this was the wrong area to post, just was not sure. Here is the output from the update:
