Everything seems to be working fine. I have access to everywhere in my forum, no bad link nor error messages yet. But there's no link to "New Poll" as indicated in the text instructions that came with the MOD, quote: Q: How do I create a poll? A: There will be a "New Poll" link on the forum.asp and topic.asp pages of your forum beside the "New Topic" link. If you don't see it, edit your forum properties and make sure the poll permissions are set to "Allow Members" or "Admin/Moderator Only". Also check if your have turned the polls option to "On" in your Poll Configuration.
I followed the instructions above, saved the changes, and nothing. So I went back to the forum properties and it shows "Don't allow polls". Again I made the changes to "Allow Members" or "Admin/Moderator Only", but again it failed to save them. It just goes back to "Don't allow polls". Any ideas, please |

Sounds like your post.asp page is missing some poll mod code. Post a link to a txt version of your post.asp file. |

Hi,
I've posted two versions of "post.asp" for your reference. One before any changes made to it, and another after I made the changes.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Davio,
Since you mentioned that the problem might lie in "post.asp" I went back and redid the file right from the begining. Well, so I thought. Mistakenly I redid "post_info.asp" instead of "post.asp". But what do you know, it apperas that the problem, is not anymore.
Now I can see the Poll Link. I can change the forums properties, and it stays as configured. I can Feature Polls, and so on...
I hope you read this message before you dip your head in "post.asp". Thank you!

Hola tuningsv,
Exactly what I did to fix it, I don't know. All I remember is that I went back to correct "post.asp" as indicated by Davio and mistakenly redid "post_info.asp". And that fixed it. So basically my problem was that somewhere along the changes I did to "post_info.asp", I din't do them correctly the first time around.
Now, I'm not an expert in this MOD, but undoing the changes and starting from the begining again, might be the solution.
Another thing you can do is to keep posting anything you find or do here. Davio (the author of the MOD) is around and if he reads your messages, he'll help!
