Hi all,
I'm looking for a MOD that allows to put on the top of the default.asp page some announcement made by the forum.
What I need is something that's similar to tha "Featured polls" of the "Polls Mod".

Can someone help me please?

Thanks

Filippo

A search in this forum for Forum announcements MOD turned up this topic, http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=39338&SearchTerms=Forum,announcements,MOD.

Im not sure if it can display announcements on default.asp, but it's a start atleast.

No, it doesn't show the announcements on default.asp.
It shows announcements at the same way as the sticky topics.

What I need is a single announcement at the top of default.asp page...

I used a global variable to carry announcement text (such as special event or maintenance warning) that displays at the top of each page. It was easy to do and only took a few lines of code.

It's a wasted day if you don't spend at least part of it flying upside down.
